Lynsay Anne Gould

How did your first quarter go?  Are you still chewing on something you have been wanting to do?  I get it!! I remember when I started this podcast I had been thinking about it for quite some time, and mainly was stuck in the HOW of it.  We can really stay stuck in “how” can’t we?  I am so grateful to have been introduced to the fabulous Lynsay Anne Gould who is my podcast coach and producer because we are closing in on 52 episodes (this one is 49) and that means we have been at it for a year, and oh my gosh the places we have gone and the impact it has created! So guess what?  I am so excited because I know there are so many of you thinking hmmmm, can I host a podcast?  If you want to I know you can, and in fact you can start whatever it is you want, and today I get to introduce all of you to the fabulous Lynsay Anne Gould and we are going to be talking about why now is indeed a great time.  And maybe you have a different goal, you can still apply what we are talking about to that.   Lynsay and her team is what makes this dream a reality and I am beyond thrilled to have her here with us today. You want to listen to this very special and inspiring episode.

Episode 048
With Scott Woodhill

Happy Monday.  I would love to take a pause for a moment and check in with all of you, how are you doing?  Take a second and take a deep breath in with the question “how am I?” and exhale with “I am present”, let’s do that again. Breathe in “how am I” and exhale “I am present”.  Yes, you are. Today I am so grateful you are here with me because we have a fantastic guest who is bringing it to the podcast as we discuss “The Presumption of Grace” and how to stop unwittingly contributing to the “bad” or as I call it “non-working” behavior of others. My guest is passionate about this topic and I was thrilled he wanted to bring it to all of you.

Scott Woodhill, is the founder and President of Woodhill Solutions, a company dedicated to “upgrading” workforces through services including training and coaching. The mission of all services is to improve levels of self-awareness, empathy, and communication in people so that they are happier in their personal lives and therefore more engaged and productive in their work lives. He is passionate about the “Presumption of Grace” topic and is bringing so much wisdom to the mic today that I know you will enjoy.

Checking In Corporate Moms with Coach Aimee Greczmiel

Episode 047
With Aimee Greczmiel

Today is a great day for all of you Corporate Moms who struggle with burnout, mom guilt, and taking time for you.  Coach Aimee Greczmiel and I had a great conversation on putting you back on your priority list, letting go of the guilt and so much more.
I have been hearing so much about “burnout” and it is something that is preventable and it’s up to YOU to take back your life and design it.  I know that can seem challenging; I get it.  As a former Corp Mom who had littles, a giant commute with a ton of responsibility at work and home, plus going back to school to certify as a coach and trainer back in the early 2000’s I still remember it well.  I remember struggling to find the balance (and you all know I don’t believe in balance, shout out to harmony), and something had to give.  Well often it was ME who was not giving to me.  Talk about burnout on steroids.  I look back and wish we had someone who was talking about support for Corporate Moms at the time.  Sure, we had brown bag lunches (did I just date myself) that was “talking” about work/life balance and dealing with stress, and that was great but there was no follow up or support.  Enter in coaches, let’s all take a deep breath in of support and focusing in on you. You are worth it.

{11:53} How guilt can be a way that we avoid or cope
{12:17} Tools for helping mothers cope with guilt
{14:41} The importance of self-care for busy working mothers
{18:51} How to get the free resource from Aimee to help you as a busy working mother
{19:33} The importance of reconnecting with ourselves

Episode 046
With
Ali Goff & Joclynn July

Want to be a BAWLR, yes you do!  Today’s episode is geared toward Women Leaders as we celebrate International Women's Day #IWD2021 and we will be talking with not one but two amazing guests here who are leaders in their lives and truly take investing in yourself through the importance of self-care seriously and are in action consistently with it.
One of our guests is a fan favorite and leads Retreats for women leaders, you will remember Ali Goff of BAWLR and new to the podcast is Joclynn July a woman leader who has participated in BAWLR. I have the opportunity to work with a lot of female entrepreneurs who embody clear purpose and vision based on what they are passionate about and know the power of the pivot when circumstances show up. AND yet burnout can still be a slippery slope that we address and have structure in place to avoid constantly. We are going to be discussing all of that and so much more today and our guests today will share from their heart great nuggets you don’t want to miss.  Also, we have an amazing opportunity for you coming up in April so stay tuned.

It's Your Story

Episode: 045

It is March 1st and today it’s my birthday, I am so jazzed I get to spend it with you.  Another trip around the sun and oh the places we have not gone.  Ok well out and about anyway because you know a pandemic but, the places we have stretched this year well it’s been amazing.  For one, this time last year this podcast was in motion to be unleashed and it really has made this year incredible.

Something that I love to do once a year is visit the “Story of Me” reflect on the things that shaped me and take a look at the year ahead and write the next chapter. You have heard me say this many times, God has a plan for us, and I believe that to my core, and trust it.  I also trust my intuition; you know that little voice that guides you (if you are willing to hear it). Oftentimes when I am working with clients, I will get asked “what do you think I should do”, and you can be sure I am going to come back and ask what does your “gut” say?  See we know the next step and we often cloud it with listening to our imposter who loves to doubt, or we go to confusion instead of focusing on the behaviors and habits one day at a time that will move us forward. Today we are going to explore five key things that will help you write your story.
