Episode 121
With Brad & Chris Mobeck I have often been told, “your boys must have loved growing up with you as a Coach”. My response is, “you might want to ask them that question”, with an immediate giggle that follows. I am currently on a comfort zone stretch as we speak with my son Chris (tune in to find out more!), so thought it would be fun to revisit Episode 014 which was also a comfort zone stretch! We explore what it was like to be a kid and teenager growing up with a mom as leadership coach, being fully immersed in leadership principles every single day. You might say we all grew up as leadership coaches together, because let me tell you, they don’t hesitate to hold me accountable, call me on my “stuff”, and hold me to my word, and being the best version of me, even when I don’t feel like it! I’ve said it before and I will say it again, they are my greatest teachers and coaches, and I am so incredibly blessed and grateful to be their mom. They are amazing young men, and I know you will love hearing their perspective. Here are the highlights from this episode: (03:02) No one is perfect (11:06) Introducing the boys (14:55) Definition of accountability (18:54) Mom VS Coach (36:43) Responsibility As mentioned in this episode: Share your Curiosity Challenges, learnings, and any questions here! Episode 118:
One of my favorite questions is “have you thought of…”? It can often spark a deep desire I never knew I had or wanted. I especially love this question when it is not coming from someone else’s agenda/opinion rather something they are seeing or hearing from me that I am not even aware I have been putting out there! It’s such a great question that opens possibilities versus igniting the “shoulds” in our lives. Today we will take on what desires are and how to tap into them to create more of the results we want in our lives. Let’s go!! Episode 113:
You’ve heard the saying “mindset over mechanics”? It’s so true! Your mindset determines your success and goes hand in hand with the power of choice. When I talk about success, I mean what you choose is success, not what someone else defines as your success. Today we will create distinctions between mindset and attitude and how they go hand and hand. It’s never really about the mechanics (although yes they are necessary) and when your mindset is clear well the mechanics tend to work themselves out, it’s like magic! Here are the highlights from this episode: (01:34) The dream team of mindset and attitude (05:58) We never stop learning (09:37) Reaching the land of possibility (13:43) Flip the switch from negative to positive (17:26) Give yourself permission to dream What’s NEW?
